What does The Hudson Manor Estate provide?
In order to ease the stress of event planning, The Hudson Manor Estate provides full service for all events. Available amenities include food and beverage, servers, use of our tables, gold Chivari chairs, white Ceremony chairs, Ivory full length linens with your choice of colored topper, a glass hurricane & votive candles, china, silverware, glassware, silver cake plateaus, toasting flutes, cake knife and server, dance floor, and set-up/ clean up of your event. Some of the aforementioned are included with every package. We also have well appointed suites for your Wedding Party to dress equipped with a steamer and CD players.

Please contact Melissa at 919-219-9139 for more information on menus and All Inclusive Packages.  We will custom design a wedding package to suit any couple's taste...from a casual, simple affair to an over the top "Platinum" extravaganza!  We can arrange for Specialty Lighting, Ice Sculptures and many other enhancements to make your wedding dreams come true.


How would you describe your event space?
In 2005 we built The Pavilion. It houses our 3000+ sq ft Grand Ballroom, state of the art commercial kitchen and lavishly appointed restrooms, along with two large covered verandas for extra seating.  This elegant ballroom is climate controlled year round for your comfort and the comfort of your guests.  We use this space for indoor events and as a back up rain plan for outdoor ceremonies. We do not charge a room flip fee. Our "Columned Garden" gives you the utmost privacy and serene setting for your ceremony.   You may also choose our newly constructed circular "Walled Garden" with it's colorful, cottage garden feel and water feature.  We have also just built our "Lakeside Terrace". This beautiful space overlooks the grounds and 5 acre lake and is another choice for outdoor ceremonies, cocktail hour and sometimes, rehearsal dinners.  The entire estate is yours to use exclusively (aside from the private areas in the Manor House).


Is event planning included in the rental price?
Melissa Cogliati, Event coordinator/Owner will be glad to assist in planning and coordinating your wedding/event at no additional charge, although outside planners are welcome.


How do I secure a date?
To secure our space, we require a signed contract and nonrefundable $2,000 deposit. The deposit will be applied to the final balance.  Check or cash accepted.


Do you provide on-site catering? Will we have a Tasting?
Yes, the Hudson Manor offers an extensive menu. Glenn Cogliati, Chef/Owner has assembled a top notch kitchen staff to provide you and your guests with fabulous fare. Our booked clients will have the opportunity to attend one of the two Tasting Events we host per year.  These Tasting Events are also open to prospective clients, usually for a small fee.


What happens to my leftover cake?
Any leftover cake will be set in boxes provided by your baker, so it may be easily transported by your designated party.


Is there enough free parking on site?
We've got acres of parking, with uniformed lot attendants to assist your guests.


Is an alcohol bar allowed?
The Hudson Manor can provide you with Beer, Wine & Champagne , as well as uniformed bartenders. We are licensed and fully insured, so no additional insurance or permits are required. Brown bagging of alcohol onto this estate is prohibited.


Are there lodging options close by?
We have just acquired a grand Victorian home in the historic district of Louisburg, less than 5 minutes from our estate.  There will be 5 bedrooms available to add to any package.  There are also a Hampton Inn and Holiday Express within a 20 minute of the Estate. Luxury transportation can be arranged with a local limo company.


What are the service charges and sales tax amounts?
All food and beverage will be subject to an 18% service fee.  Sales Tax rate is currently 7.75% , charged when applicable.


Can I use outside vendors?
Our Event Coordinator is happy to share a list of recommended vendors, such as florists, entertainment providers (band/DJ/booking agent), photographers, Ministers, videographers, lighting and Wedding Cake bakers. Any outside vendor must be approved by the Event Coordinator before booked.
